High School Chorus

	The Winslow High School Chorus

	The Chorus is an elective course open to any student with vocal and listening skills. Junior High chorus training is reccommended. This class, under the direction of Brian Hutchinson, concentrates on vocal development in large and small group environments, and performs all types of music from the classics to popular and show tunes.
	The Chorus Features: Daily rehearsals during school Before or after school rehearsals for those that can't get scheduled Graded for credit Performs at least two major concert performances per year Performs for the Yearbook Dedication Ceremony Opportunities for solo work Members may audition to participate in the Kennebec Valley Music Festival Members may audition to participate in the Maine All-State Chorus Performs Assemblies and at community services. (Nursing Homes) Some members are selected by audition to perform in the Fall Musical Productions
