Performance Self Evaluation

Task:
The task is to complete a concert evaluation following a concert or following a videotaped viewing of the concert.

Background: Concert Preparation and Concert Assessment
As part of our performing ensemble, our responsibility is to collectively and individually prepare for public performances.

Purpose:
1. To improve group and individual performance.
2. To make students aware of individual importance to the group.
3. To make students aware of the importance of individual practice.

Procedure:
1. Review the Performance Critique Form.
2. Students will view performance videotape.
3. Complete the Performance Critique Form.
4. Students will list goals for future performances.
5. Teacher will deliver a class composite.

General Preparation:

Rate yourself by circling one of the answers from 1 (least prepared) to 5 (well prepared). If I disagree with your assessment by more than one point, I may ask you to demonstrate or justify your rating.
