    B2. Students will be able to compare and contrast the characteristics and purposes of the arts from various cultures, historical periods, and social groups.
    B3. Students will be able to compare and contrast cultural vales as expressed in works and explain how these values may differ from their own daily experience.
Assessment Strategy  
 
  • Give a brief historical background for the composition "Movement For Rosa" by Mark Camphouse; social, political, and cultural conditions of the times.
  • Have students listen to a recording of "Movement For Rosa" by Mark Camphouse.
  • Lead a brief discussion of the composition.
  • Pass out the assessment sheet for the students to complete
  • Play the composition as the students work on the sheet as needed.
  • Conclude with a review of the composition and the assessment sheet.
